A Film Premiere for Unity Productions Foundation's new docudrama
"The Sultan and the Saint"
The Sultan and the Saint film tells one of the great, lost stories from history. Two men of faith, one a traveling Christian preacher, Saint Francis of Assisi, the other the ruler of a Muslim Empire, Sultan Al-Kamil of Egypt, who met during the Fifth Crusade and were each transformed in notable ways. Set in a past period of religious conflict, it speaks with urgency to our present. Watch the film to learn how this interfaith meeting helped stop the bloodshed.
